I’m a Hidamari fanatic who discovered the series in 2010. Underneath Hidamari’s story is a surprisingly deep layer of detail, which captivated me enough to record as much of it as I could. I was most inspired by the Japanese websites “Yamabuki High School” and “Asagichō Wiki” and their wealth of information (sadly, neither of them update anymore).

In 2014 I lived in Japan for several months and took the opportunity to meet Hidamari fans across the country. I have learned a lot since starting this blog so please be aware translations from before 2013 are likely rife with errors.
